ReLiion
Project Brief
For sustainability, shifting to a circular economy model is required in FMCG product/packaging design. Employing systems thinking, my team evaluated supply chains for FMC-Electronics, focusing on power banks from the angle of shared use and customer/company collaboration.
Role
In charge of analytics and logistics, I was consistent in my collaboration with my teammates. Using CES Edupack as well as Argonne Lab developed database I validated Li-ion battery sustainability for FMCE market distruption. To add, I developed a visual prototype for an app that would complete our Product Service System (PSS) design.

Final Concept
First, we identified problem areas within the supply chain for existing power banks, and then, assuming certain innovations evidence for which is available in literature, and with key stakeholders identified, we established our product service system, which approaches battery design and distribution sustainably. We ensure use of recycled materials, remanufacture where possible, and maintenance of app as continuous touchpoint. The latter would be connected to a power station, giving feedback on charging status of each bank, as well as whether it is in use with compatible products.
