AI Course CFTE for Client
Project Brief
A service provided by CFTE is creation of hollywood courses for industry clients interested in training their staff. For a government entity I was part of the team tasked with the tailoring of an AI course, which introduces the topic, hones in on cutting edge technologies as well as discusses AI applications. The client requested the course be more engaging through animated videos, activities and quizzes, while respecting their branding guidelines.
Role
I was in charge of the visual elements for the AI Course, as well as the adaptation of content presentation to be more interactive and stimulating for the learner. Combining skills in graphic design and management, I took on the role of a CCO, playing a key part in relationship management and addressing user needs and wants in terms of UX and UI.
Graphic Design & Branding
Key to my responsibilities was the maintenance of strong branding, aligned with the client's guidelines as well as making the course more engaging, all the while not compromising on the educational content.
Utilising Adobe Illustrator, I created visual asset elements that were then used in the AI Course made on Storyline, such as an artistic interpretation of neural networks and a 'machine learning brain'. Similarly, animated PowerPoint Presentations were made to effectively deliver content without being too crowded.
To add, lectures were cut into more manageable segments, topic by topic. This optimised the listening experience, in addition to enabling the introduction of more interactive elements, such as multiple choice questions.
Final Concept
The final AI Course is a Three Module series, launched through BlackBoard on the client's official learning platform, and is a strong continuation of a previously run course. Evidence for positive feedback is clear through the enthusiasm regarding the look of the course, as well as the completion rates. This, in turn, can serve as a foundation for the creation of more courses for the client.
